Louisiana State University will be hosting a Double Reed Day on Saturday, February 4 at the LSU School of Music. Events of the day will include masterclasses for college and high school oboe and bassoon players, a symposium for band directors on starting students on double reed instruments, reed classes, and will conclude with a spectacular recital featuring LSU faculty and guest artist performers! Guests artists include Phillip Kolker (bassoon) and Mark Ostoich (oboe).
